Mansion Caretaker Pleads Guilty To Theft
A former caretaker of the Longaberger mansion has pleaded guilty to stealing 1.5 million dollars from his employer.
Muskingum County prosecutors say 53-year-old Douglas Thompson, of Pataskala, stole the money from Tami Longaberger between November 2004 and February 2011. Prosecutors say he took the money to pay for credit card bills and personal items including computers and home improvements. Sentencing is pending.
