Ohio State University's marching band alumni club says an independent review of band culture released last month should be used to revisit the firing of band director Jon Waters. The club says it has evaluated the findings of a task force led by former Ohio Attorney General Betty Montgomery and found them "generally even-handed." Waters was fired in July after a university investigation found he knew about but failed to stop a sexualized culture of band rituals. OSU president Michael Drake has said Waters will not be rehired.
