Columbus, Oh – A plan by local leaders to boost economic development was presented to Columbus residents this year. The Columbus 2020 plan aims to raise 30-million dollars over five years to spur economic development. In his 2011 budget plan, Columbus Mayor Michael Coleman proposes spending 700-thousand dollars to help make the plan a reality. In this installment of our annual end of the year interview with the Mayor, we asked if he and City Council plan to take a more active leadership role in the plan in 2011.
