Columbus, Oh – The FBI says Columbus saw decreases in property crimes and most violent crime categories in the first six months of the year. But the number of homicides and aggravated assaults in Columbus rose when compared to the same period last year. The bureau released those statistics on December 21st, the day we sat down with Columbus Mayor Michael Coleman. He spoke about those numbers and the anti-crime initiatives launched this year.
