Shadowbox Live presents burlesque as it’s never been seen before in the new Stage 2 production, Burlesque de Voyage. Blending past and present by mixing modern music and old school burlesque comedy with a Steampunk flair, Burlesque de Voyage is a show within a show, telling the story of a traveling troupe as they arrive in a new town, set up, and perform a true burlesque style show. *Burlesque de Voyage contains no nudity, but is recommended for mature audiences.

The exhibition, drawn primarily from CMA’s collection, gathers works by artists such as George Bellows, Emerson Burkhart, Edmund Kuehn, Robert Chadeayne, and others, who were compelled to translate the charms of the city’s various locales and neighborhoods onto canvas.
