Memorial Day Highway Fatalities Increase Slightly

The Ohio Highway Patrol says 14 people were killed on the roads over the Memorial Day weekend - one more than last year. Three fatalities were related to impaired driving. Four were not wearing seat belts. The patrol made 544 arrests for impaired driving, down nearly 29 percent from last year. The 55 hundred seat belt violations this year are down nearly 25 percent last year.
