A memorial service will be held on campus Friday for the first director of Ohio State University's Black Studies program.79-year-old Charles Ross died at a hospice center in Mississippi. Ross was known for fighting racial profiling and excessive use force by police. He also pushed to increase the school's number of black students, administrators and board members.
