Franklin County Sheriff's deputies are investigating a fatal crash involving a vehicle and a motorcycle that left two people dead Monday. Deputies say the car was attempting to turn left when a motorcycle struck the front, passenger door. The motorcycle driver and 24-year-old Laquita Lewis, a passenger in the car, were killed in the crash at Westerville Road and Albert Avenue.The 19-year-old driver of the car, Nikitesha Lewis, is hospitalized in stable condition. Deputies say neither drugs nor alcohol appear to be factors in the crash.
