More Closures For Downtown Freeway Work

State Transportation officials say the ramp from northbound I-71 to eastbound I-670 will close late next week instead of tonight as announced earlier.Contractors plan to spend two months replacing the ramp. Also as  part of the downtown freeway construction project, southbound 71 through Downtown will close between 1 p.m. Saturday and 5 a.m. Monday. The ramp from 11th Avenue to 71 southbound close at noon Saturday. The Spring Street exit ramp from westbound 670 and the ramp from westbound 670 to southbound 71 will be closed from 10 a.m. next Friday until the following Monday at 5 a.m. Detours are being posted.
