More Safety Training In Cincinnati Schools?

Cincinnati police chief James Craig says he wants to talk with the school district about providing additional safety training for responding to potential school shootings.A district spokesperson says principals are trained in emergency response and all schools have safety plans and drills. The spokesperson says the district welcomes opportunities to collaborate with police and others on possible ways of extending that training. Ohio's police training academy also will work with educators to help them deal with a shooter.
