More Vehicle Thefts Reported In Central Ohio Last Year

auto-theft.info

Vehicle thefts rose in central Ohio for a second straight year in 2016. The National Insurance Crime Bureau says thefts rose by 16 percent last year, with 49 hundred central Ohio vehicles stolen. The region's rate of 240 thefts per 100 thousand residents is ranked in the top third of more than 380 metropolitan areas in the U.S.. The bureau says the increase is due to more drivers leaving the keys in their vehicles.
