The Mid Ohio Regional Planning Commission has approved 18 new road projects worth 77-million dollars.
They include safety improvements, road widening work and public transit expansions. The projects are being paid for with federal funds that will be released over the next two years. Work will begin in July. Hamilton Road, a new I-270/ Route 33 interchange in Dublin, and widening Sunbury road are among the projects that were approved. More money will also be spent on highway resurfacing and upgrades of Columbus' traffic-surveillance cameras.
