Mumps Cases Reported At Columbus State

Columbus and Franklin County health officials are warning local school districts children without mumps vaccinations might have to miss weeks of school if an outbreak hits classrooms.

230 confirmed cases are reported in an outbreak that started at Ohio State University. Columbus Public Health officials say new cases are being reported among Columbus State Community College students. Health officials have urged residents to make sure they've been inoculated with two doses of the measles, mumps and rubella vaccine.
