Neko Case has gained a cult following around her distinctive voice. In 1997 she released her first solo album, The Virginian, and began a long-running collaboration with the Vancouver-based indie rock group The New Pornographers. These days, she finds inspiration at home on her farm in Vermont, where she recorded her most recent project.
