NetJets Pilots Protest Contract Talks

Several hundred unionized pilots working for Columbus-based NetJets staged protests in seven cities Thursday over a lack of progress in contract talks. Their union says concessions sought by the company owned by billionaire Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway do not fit with the picture of financial success executives have described. CEO Adam Johnson says negotiators made rprogress over the summer, but the two sides remain far apart on several key issues. Talks began in 2013.

Jim has been with WCBE since 1996. Before that he worked as a reporter at another Columbus radio station, and for three newspapers in Southwest Florida.
