New Business Filings Set A Record In March

Ohio Secretary Of State's Office

More companies are deciding to call Ohio home. The Secretary of State's office says 12-thousand-827 new entities filed to do business in Ohio last month. That's nearly 23-hundred more than during the same month in 2016. The March 2017 figure is the highest for new business formation in state history.  For the year so far, 33-thousand-64 new entities have filed to do business in Ohio.  Most of those filings are made online.
