New Interactive Project At This Year's Columbus Arts Festival

The Columbus Arts Festival opens later this morning, and runs through Sunday evening.  The nationally recognized event showcases art, music and spoken word performance. It  will bring an estimated 500 thousand people to the banks of the Scioto River in downtown Columbus.  Greater Columbus Arts Council marketing vice president Jami Goldstein tells Alison Holm one of the interactive projects at the festival this year will literally put Columbus "on the map".

A native of Chicago, naturalized citizen of Cincinnati and resident of Columbus, Alison attended Earlham College and the Ohio State University. She has equal passion for Midwest history, hockey and Slavic poetry.
