A New York-based foundation has made another financial commitment to family members of Ohio police officers killed in the line of duty.
Tunnel to Towers spokesperson Larry Olson made the announcement in Columbus.
Following the death of a first responder, Tunnel to Towers often covers the housing costs for families with children ages 14 and younger. The family of Stephen Siller established the foundation after the firefighter's death on 9/11. Westerville Officers Eric Joering and Anthony Morelli were killed February 10 after responding to a 911 call indicating a domestic violence situtation.
