WCBE is currently not broadcasting from our Newark transmitter. We have several complicating factors,
that have lead to our Newark signal being off-air;, however, two main factors plague us at the moment.
One is our tower lease in Newark. There's a payment glitch we're working on with our owner
(Columbus City Schools). We are hopefully that this issue will be resolved resolved by August 23rd.
Another issue is our physical transmitter there. It's over 25 years old now, far beyond its design life.
Getting a new transmitter is the ultimate solution for this element.
We hope to be back on the air for our Newark listeners soon. When the signal is restored, we'll send an
e-mail out to all of our known listeners in Newark and Granville!
