Newspaper Carrier Saves Local Lives

Columbus fire officials say a newspaper carrier saved several people from a fire at an East side apartment complex yesterday. Fire officials say the carrier was starting his route when he saw flames at the Jefferson Chase Apartments off Kennedy Road. He ran into the building to bang on doors and wake up residents and call firefighters. No one was hurt.
