Nine Human WNV Cases In Ohio

West Nile Virus is active in Yellow Springs, and two people have been infected in Miami and Clark counties.

That brings to nine the number of confirmed human cases in Ohio this year. There were 21 cases last year. The Greene County Combined Health District collected says mosquitoes collected from pools placed in Yellow Springs tested positive for the virus. The Health District will spray in the area and continue testing around the county.
