Obama Fires Back at Comment by McCain Campaign Manager

Stuebenville, OH – During a campaign stop in Ohio, Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama fired back against comments from Republican rival John McCain's campaign manager who said the election is not about issues.

"We want to talk about issues, the issues that make a difference in your lives every single day," Obama told the crowd of about 300 invited guests.

Earlier this week McCain campaign manager Rick Davis told the Washington Post that the election will be won based on the candidates' personalities, not the issues.
