Obama Supporter Sues For Wrongful Termination

A Montgomery County woman says she was fired three days after the presidential election because of her vote for President Obama.Patricia Kunkle has filed a lawsuit against Dayton-based Q-Mark Incorporated and its president. The firm is a manufacturers' representative and defense contractor. Kunkle says company president Roberta Gentile told employees last year Obama supporters would be the first to be terminated if he got re-elected. Kunkle says she never received any negative evaluations or disciplinary action prior to her termination. The company says she was laid off for economic reasons and cited uncertainty over U.S. defense spending.
