The village of Obetz plans to spend 15 million dollars to demolish the closed Columbus Motor Speedway and build a 65 hundred seat athletic stadium. The facility would host professional lacrosse and rugby, with hopes of attracting high school football playoffs and other events. The stadium will be the first in the country designed specifically for professional lacrosse.
