Officer Involved In Shooting Identified

Columbus police have released the name of the officer who shot and wounded a man after a traffic stop on the North Side last Saturday.

Police say officer Bryan Mason shot the unnamed man who allegedly brandished a weapon while fleeing the traffic stop on Cleveland Avenue. Police say the man is hospitalized in stable condition.
