Findlay officials who are pushing for the completion of a flood control study got less money than they wanted from the federal government. But they say it's still enough to keep the project going forward. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will contribute 20 thousand dollars to the flood control study of the Blanchard River area. Findlay was looking for 1.5 million, but the Corps' funding keeps the project in line to receive more in the next federal budget. Five major floods have hit the area since 2007, causing millions of dollars in damage.
