A Cincinnati boy who has fought an incurable skin disease and hearing loss since birth will attend today's national memorial service for his hero, Ohio native and former astronaut Neil Armstrong.14-old Shane DiGiovanna says Armstrong has been an inspiration to his goal of becoming an aerospace engineer. He says his skin condition would prevent him from being an astronaut. The eighth-grader hopes to meet some of Armstrong's colleagues today and ask about the man whose career he has researched for years.
