Ohio Cities Losing Population

New U.S. Census Bureau figures show most large and medium-sized cities in Ohio lost population over the past two years, while many cities elsewhere saw gains. 14 out of 15 of Ohio cities with at least 50 thousand people had slight population declines from 2010 to July 1st of last year. During same period, 90 percent of the 729 larger U.S. cities had population gains. Ohio's total population increased slightly during that period. Every major city in Ohio except Columbus ranked near the bottom in percentage of population change.
