Columbus, OH –

Ohio Democratic Congresswoman Stephanie Tubbs-Jones died yesterday evening--21 hours after suffering a brain hemorrhage. The 58-year-old was the first African-American woman to represent Ohio in Congress. She chaired the house ethics committee and was a passionate opponent of the Iraq War.
