Ohio Firefighter Critical After Lightning Strike

Authorities say a Columbus firefighter remained in critical condition two days after being struck by lightning outside Crew stadium.

A spokeswoman for the Columbus Division of Fire says authorities believe the off-duty firefighter was struck Saturday while attending a charity event before the game. The department says Lt. Stu Tudor remains in critical condition today. A strong storm rolled through about 15 minutes before the scheduled 8 p.m. kickoff between the Crew and FC Dallas. The game got postponed and rescheduled for Sunday afternoon. The teams held a moment of silence before their scoreless draw to support Tudor's recovery.
