Ohio Foreclosures Decline

The mortgage research firm RealtyTrac says foreclosure filings in Ohio fell by 23 percent in January from December's figures.Nearly 83-hundred foreclosure filings were made last month. Spokesperson Daren Blomquist says nationally, filings fell by seven percent to the lowest level since June 2006. He attributes the national decline to new California state laws making foreclosures more difficult.
