Columbus, OH – The Ohio legislature has approved placing a $700 million bond package to fund the Third Frontier high-tech jobs program before the voters in May. Backers say the four-year bond issue will continue funding a program that created 48,999 jobs since its launch in 2002. The program provides startup money for companies in targeted industries such as alternative energy, biomedicine and advanced materials. Statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen reports.
