Ohio Police Chief Takes His Own Life

toledoblade.com

Grief counselors will be at Walbridge Village Hall today, helping employees cope with the suicide of the police chief. Village officials say 50-year-old Walt Tylicki died this week of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.  Tylicki had been chief for ten months after serving as an officer for nearly a decade. Officials have not said why the chief took his own life.

Jim has been with WCBE since 1996. Before that he worked as a reporter at another Columbus radio station, and for three newspapers in Southwest Florida.
