People hoping to get a view of a nude statue of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump in Cleveland Heights are out of luck. Police took the statue from its spot on Coventry Road Thursday, less than an hour after it went on display. The city says it violates an ordinance about leaving items on the sidewalk. A self-described anarchist collective called INDECLINE commissioned dozens of the life-sized statues to be displayed in several U.S. cities. A member of the group who wishes to remain anonymous says they oppose Trump, and the statues are designed to make a statement.
And he says people who don't like Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton won't see a similar statue any time soon.
The statues depict a stern-faced Trump with his hands folded over a bulging belly. Some parts of male genitalia are visible while others seemingly are missing. The Trump campaign has declined comment on the statues.
