The Department of Defense says 37-year-old Chief Warrant Officer James E. Groves III of Kettering died Saturday in Kandahar, Afghanistan. Military officials have released no details, but his death remains under investigation. Groves was assigned to the 3rd Squadron, 17th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Combat Aviation Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division at Hunter Army Airfield, Ga.
