Shelby County Sheriff's deputies say one woman was killed and a man and two infants were critically injured when the Amish buggy in which they were riding was struck from behind Friday night on State Route 47 near the Logan-Shelby county line.
Deputies say the buggy was properly lit when it was struck. The four were members of the same family. Their names haven't been released. The driver of the vehicle that struck the buggy fled on foot after the accident and was arrested a mile from the scene.
