One Killed, Two Injured In Multi-Vehicle Crash

Pickaway County Sheriff's deputies say a tractor-trailer caused several stopped vehicles to collide early Wednesday, killing one woman and injuring two other people. The crash happened on U.S. Route 23 near Circleville. 42-year-old Amy Schneider died at the scene. 49-year-old Francis Shirey was treated at a hospital and released. 59-year-old Karen Kindle is hospitalized in Columbus with non-life-threatening injuries. 41-year-old truck driver Tracy Ferrell is charged with tampering with evidence for allegedly removing a page from his driving log book and trying to conceal it.
