ONG Major To Face 35-Count Indictment Friday

The Ohio National Guard member accused of sexually abusing three adopted daughters and his stepdaughter at their Union County home is scheduled for arraignment Friday. Prosecutors say 41-year-old Major Jean Kruse faces an updated 35-count indictment that includes intimidation charges. Kruse and his wife Emily have pleaded not guilty to charges of abusing the children and sending a fourth adopted daughter out of state in July 2012. Prosecutors say the couple also threatened the other children in the family with a similar fate to keep them from talking about what they knew. The couple lived with eleven biological, step, and adopted children in their Marysville home.
