Opponents Of Internet Cafe Ban May Miss Today's Filing Deadline

A state law banning Internet cafes could take effect as early as today.

Supporters of a referendum to overturn the ban have stopped collecting signatures and aren't sure if they'll file a petition by this afternoon's deadline. The Committee to Protect Ohio Jobs was given ten days to collect more signatures after falling short of the number needed to put the issue on the November 2014 ballot.
