Orange Township Settles Lawsuit Filed By Firefighter

A Delaware County township has reached an 875-thousand dollar legal settlement with a former firefighter who sued over alleged sexual harassment. The settlement also requires Orange Township to reinstate Raechel Peters this fall. Peters claimed she was fired because she reported unwanted sexual advances by a male colleague, and because of her gender. A Franklin County jury awarded her 1.7 million dollars last spring.
