OSU Conference To Focus On Small Farming

Ohio State University's extension program hosts a conference next month in eastern Ohio to help small-farm owners in the state. The conference in Zanesville on March 23 will be aimed at current and future farm operators.  The conference will be at the Muskingum County Convention and Welcome Center. Topics on the agenda include maple syrup, sheep production, livestock nutrition, and beekeeping. Ohio State Extension also has an eight-week program that offers an introduction to the business of small farming.

Mike Foley joined WCBE in February 2000, coming from WUFT in Gainesville, Florida. A series of music features Foley started in 2018 called Music Journeys has grown into a podcast and radio show. He also assists in developing other programs in WCBE's Podcast Experience.
