Ohio State University Police Chief Craig Stone is resigning effective June 12.
Stone will take over as new safety director at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He became chief at OSU in 2015. The school has named Deputy Chief Kimberly Spears-McNatt interim chief.
