OSU Sends Accepted Student Applicants Postcards With Wrong Names

Ohio State University officials are apologizing after postcards were recently sent to 17-thousand accepted applicants that had the wrong first or middle names. The university blames a mail-merge error in a database. The postcards had a message assuring the students they would get personal attention on campus.
