OSU Trying To Block Cincinnati Casino Owner From Using The Term "The Shoe"

Ohio State University is attempting to block the Horseshoe Cincinnati casino in an effort to prevent the facility from naming its concert venue "The Shoe." The university uses the nickname for Ohio Stadium.  Casino owners have applied to use it for the venue. Ohio State is trying to block the application with the U.S. Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, saying Ohio Stadium and the casino are competitors.
