Owens Corning To Stay In Toledo

Toledo Mayor Mike Bell has signed an agreement that keeps Owens Corning in the city until at least 2030. The agreement extends the company's existing tax increment financing agreement by another eight-years and transfers ownership of the land to Owens Corning if the company remains on the site for 15-additional years. Bell says the deal retains more than one thousand jobs and adds 50 positions over the next three-years. Owens Corning makes fiberglass and related products.
