Perez Charged With Drug Possession

Rocky River police have charged Cleveland Indians pitcher Chris Perez and his wife with misdemeanor drug possession in the shipment of just over one-third of a pound of marijuana to their home. Police say Perez and his wife, Melanie, have been released on personal bond. Police say the rental home was the subject of several investigations before Perez and his family moved in. Perez' attorney says the couple will enter not guilty pleas, and they are confident of a favorable outcome.
