Perry County Declares Flood Emergency

Perry County has declared a flood emergency following several days of rain that left roads under water and impassable. The county emergency management director says high water is reported in Corning and Crooksville. Rail traffic is shut down through Crooksville. Know, Morrow and Richland counties are seeing high water and submerged roads. The Ohio Emergency Management Agency and the Red Cross are helping people displaced by rising water. Some had to be rescued by boat.
