P&G To Cut Jobs

Cincinnati-based Procter & Gamble says it will cut 3 thousand to 6 thousand office jobs worldwide. P-and-G officials have yet to say how many cuts will be made in Ohio. The company blames what it calls disappointing sales revenue. The company on Thursday reported a third quarter profit of 2.15 billion dollars on 18.4 billion dollars in sales. The sales figures met with Wall Street expectations.
