Charges are pending against a 16-year-old Pickaway County boy accused of stabbing his mother. Sheriff's deputies say the teen stabbed and wounded 44-year-old Brookie Triplett yesterday morning during an argument at their Commercial Point home. Triplett is hospitalized in Columbus in stable condition. Her son is in juvenile detention, but could be charged as an adult. Authorities have not released the boy's name.
