Mayfield Heights police say they have arrested a man who allegedly stabbed three people early Monday after breaking into their home. Police say one of the victims identified the suspect, Matthew Cepik, as her former boyfriend. Police chief Fred Bittner says Cepik was arrested after he tried to take his own life by running into the path of a truck in Solon.
Bittner says Cepik was taken to a local hospital for treatment and charges are pending.
